Electrodeposition Coating
Professional Metal Surface Treatment Technology
What is Electrodeposition Coating?
Electrodeposition coating (E-coating) is a technology that uses electric current to deposit paint particles onto conductive surfaces, also known as electrophoretic deposition. This technique creates uniform, tight coatings on complex metal surfaces, significantly enhancing corrosion resistance, appearance, and product lifespan.
Hong Kwang Electro-deposition Coating Co., Ltd. has over 40 years of professional experience, specializing in electrodeposition coating processing for industrial metal components, providing high-quality surface treatment solutions for automotive, electronics, home appliances, industrial equipment, and many other industries.
Our electrodeposition coating technology primarily processes iron, zinc, and aluminum metals, ensuring every product meets customer quality requirements through strict quality control and advanced production equipment.

E-coating Process Flow
Our electrodeposition coating process follows a strictly regulated workflow to ensure every product receives a uniform, tight, and durable coating. Below is our standard process flow:
Pre-treatment
Includes degreasing, rust removal, phosphating, and other steps to remove oil stains and oxides from the workpiece surface, preparing for subsequent e-coating.
E-coating
The workpiece is immersed in an e-coating tank and electrified to form a uniform coating, with paint particles depositing on the workpiece surface under the effect of the electric field.
Ultrafiltration Cleaning
Special ultrafiltration liquid is used to clean the workpiece surface, removing uncured paint and ensuring the coating is uniform and defect-free.
Baking and Curing
The coating is cured in a high-temperature oven, forming a solid cross-linked network structure that enhances the physical and chemical properties of the coating.
Quality Inspection
Finished products undergo rigorous testing, including appearance, thickness, adhesion, corrosion resistance, and other indicators to ensure they meet standards.
